May parties are abundant!

May certainly has a number of reasons to celebrate…

Derby, Mother’s Day, & Graduations are just to name a few.

Last weekend I had the pleasure of creating a wonderful day for a graduating 5th grade young lady.

The focal point for this party was the desert table.  It was packed full of sweet treats.

Everything from flavored popcorn to gumball necklaces.

I love using unique party favors, so we displayed necklaces for the girls made of

shiny gumballs & clips!

As you can imagine…they were the hit of the party!

Small boxes are perfect for filling with treats.  Don’t forget to provide cute containers for guests to fill up!

The desert table was filled with sixlets,

Hershey kisses that were adorned with “Congrats” labels, Swizzle sticks tied with ribbon &

Pink candy coated popcorn all kept with our over the top theme!

This gorgeous cake was created by Martine’s.  Her work is amazing & never disappoints!

Macaron’s & cookies gave something for everyone to enjoy!

Ok, so maybe the macaron’s were more for the adults!

And of course the photo booth!  This is an easy way for your guests to have fun & get goofy!

Spray paint wooden frames from Hobby Lobby or Michael’s for adorable photo frames.

Until next time…..

Macarons for Easter?…yes please

When I met Sylviana, owner of La Petite Delicat, in Lexington Kentucky there was no question that her beautiful petite macarons were the perfect gift for any occasion.

A little about Sylviana & La Petite Delicat……

“In July 2012, I was searching for an unique dessert for my daughter’s 2nd birthday party and came across colorful petite macarons. I searched for a great recipe and read a lot of blogs about making them, but learned that they were difficult to make. After countless trials, I successfully made a perfectly round macaron with beautiful ruffle! They were a big hit at the party and macarons become our family’s favorite dessert. I have been making macarons ever since and La Petite Sucré was born in February 2013. In January 2015, we changed our business name to La Petite Délicat.

I love baking macarons, but decorating them gives me a new level of excitement! In August 2013, I started making macarons with custom designs and it becomes the highlight of my business.”

“At La Petite Délicat, we use only the best ingredients and bake from scratch! every detail is handcrafted with love and you can taste the effort.

I am looking forward to creating unique macarons for your event, or you can simply order our gift box for friends and family. Believe me, these sweet confections will bring conversation to your event!”
